If you witnessed or heard rumour of children being abused at Dollar Academy, please come forward. Abuse thrives on disbelieve, fear, silence and inaction.
Some of you may think of sexual abuse when you hear the term abuse. Physical assault, psychological manipulation and neglect are abuses too.
These abuses are especially damaging when they are perpetrated by an Institution, a teacher or Boarding House Master or Mistresses on a young vulnerable child.
Quid pro quo, cover-ups, issuing gagging orders or intimidating child victims or adult survivors is a pernicious form of abuse too.
